Anger,
We All Have To Deal With It
Anger is a powerful emotion that everyone feels from time to time. There are different degrees of anger and an infinitive number of things that cause it. Anger is an emotion we all feel we have a right to have, especially when we feel that we have been cheated or mistreated in some way. Anger is a completely natural, human emotion. You could be angry at a specific person, such as a spouse or family member, or you may become angry at a particular situation or event such as a traffic jam.
Sometimes we feel energized by anger, that can be a good thing sometimes if you need to physically defend yourself, but this situation is rare in each individual life. But when anger gets out of control it can be destructive and lead to problems at work, in your relationships, and it can interfere with your overall quality of your life.
How Your Body Reacts To Anger
When you become angry it will cause certain changes in your body. This is what happens: Your adrenaline and other chemicals will pour into you bloodstream faster. Your heart will pump faster. Your blood pressure will rise and your muscles will become tense. Depending on the intensity of your anger and how long you stay angry, these conditions are not healthy for your body.
Don’t Act Out of Anger
When you become angry, don’t do the first thing you fell like doing, like punching someone or throwing something. The first thing you should do is to remind yourself that your anger in it self will not resolve the situation that made you angry. For example: If a boss or co worker does something to make you angry no matter how angry you are or how long you stay angry, it will not resolve the situation. Instead of continuing to be angry calm your emotions and make a plan to deal with the situation.
Who Needs Anger Management
Basically people who need anger management are those who frequently become enraged and express their anger violently, and people who get angry more easily and more intensely than the average person. People who are easily angered don't always swear and throw things, sometimes they withdraw socially, or they may become physically ill.
Putting Anger Into Perspective
As we all know everyone gets angry. How we deal with it is the issue. Prolonged anger can be unhealthy, However repressed anger and anger not dealt with can also be unhealthy. So, the best approach to dealing with anger is to recognize it, acknowledge the cause of it and deal with the cause in a rational way
