"I have been taking the "happy potion" as I like to call it. I am not good about keeping a journal because like everyone else I'm......busy, distracted, lazy...many more excuses. Anyway, I am very aware of what goes on in my body and I try not to sound too much like a quack but I pay very close attention to see if things are changing. I will say my mood has improved! And that really makes me happy and alittle scared. I want to make sure it's not a placebo effect for me. I really wouldn't care if it was, whatever works! But I do want to know what's going on physically with my body. I'm a little skeptical to think that 4 little drops of something 3 or more times a day is going to cure my thyroid condition.
For the most part though, my mood is definitely improved. And that makes everything better. I'm more productive, obviously happier and I don't let things fester with me as much. "I've been taking my combinations since like Tuesday. I put one drop in a glass of water 4 times a day. I have lost 2 lbs. I got this to cure my thyroid problems. Every time I would get a prescription it would make me extremely ill. I got bad headaches, couldn't breath , chest pain, and was extremely dizzy. I have only been taking this combination for a few days and can tell a difference. At least I don't feel like I am going to die from some drug I have taken. I don't have real bad thyroid problems. I register 7.5 on my test. I go back to the doctor next week and I am going to tell him that I have stopped taking any prescription. What's the sense of taking something that makes you sick. I felt fine before I took anything and the medicine he prescribed just made me very ill. I feel good again with the combinations.
Another thing, I actually went for 2 night without pain in my hips. I know this isn't what I got the combinations for. But for some reason it took away pain that I have had for nearly a year. | "I started taking the Hashimoto Formula the day it arrived, and have been very regular with the dosage, and maybe a little more as the first bottle was consumed rather quickly. I chose not to write you until I had some positive proof to share. I just got back from a visit with my MD who while HAPPY with my current TSH reading of 8 was, I'm sure, surprised as well as I was pleased. When first diagnosed my TSH was 150 and then by taking 100mcg of Levothyroxine it dropped to between 5 & 6. At a previous TSH test it spiked to 23, and one week later another TSH test administered by an Endocrinologist the reading had dropped to 20. The Endocrinologist wanted to raise my dosage to 150mcg, and I told him NO due to the side effects I had experienced when my dosage was raised to 112mcg. Amongst them were Trembling Hands, Elevated Pulse as well as Blood Pressure. He said those were not side effects of Levothyroxine. He may as well have slapped me in the face and called me a liar as the printed material that I receive with the prescription clearly states that there are side effects." - Stuart
