Do you love a good book? I do. I love curling up with a good book
just before I go to bed, or on cool days in front of the fire. Some
of my favorite authors include Tracy Chevalier and Catherine Ponder.
On of the most moving and spiritual books I've had the pleasure to
open is The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz.
Another very powerful book is The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. I often pick it up when I need a little inspiration.

It is a beautiful Sunday afternoon as I sit on my patio,
wine in hand, writing to you. There have been a number
of exciting developments in the works, some of which you
may have heard about, some you probably have not.
For example, I returned a week ago today from a fantastic
trip to England, the highlight of which was a visit to the
Bach Centre. I met Kathy, who runs the office there, walked
through the gardens and really got a feel for the place.
Before I left, I met a woman who tried to drop her baby off
at the nursery at church. That particular day, I was helping
out in the nursery and felt her pain. Her son just didn't
want to be without Mom. Later that day my Husband and I had a
discussion that resulted in a combination for separation anxiety.
I expect that we'll be able to get this combination on the site
in the next month or so.
Here's to a happy, healthy, stress free, love filled July.

Courage: The Ability to Face Life’s Challenges Head-on
Courage, according to Webster's dictionary, is "That quality of mind which enables one to encounter danger and difficulties with firmness, or without fear, or fainting of heart; valor; boldness; resolution." If you find yourself afraid to face difficulties, I have two pieces of good news for you: The first piece is the fact that you are not alone in this feeling. The other piece of good news is that anyone, including you, can develop courage.
Susan Jeffers, in her book, "Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway" discusses the idea that by taking positive control of our lives, letting go of resistance, and ultimately choosing one's attitude in life, we come out ahead. Sometimes stepping out in faith, feeling the fear and doing it anyway, works. We demonstrate courage by our faith. Being firm, level headed, and bold, even when we feel afraid is one way that we can develop courage.

The Symptoms of Short Term Stress
Everyone experiences stress at one time or another. With tax season upon us, many people have heightened stress levels right now. It is just one more thing that we must add to our already impossible to do list, and we hope that it isn't the final straw that breaks our backs. Stress manifests itself in different ways, and it is important to recognize them so that we can make efforts to reduce our stress levels.
Some symptoms of stress might not be very obvious. You may not consider a feeling of flush or warmth, a difficulty in concentration, or a dry mouth (being thirsty), as signs of stress, but they are. It is perfectly normal to experience some stress, but if you have these symptoms, you should acknowledge the possibility of a heighten stress level, and make an effort to relax.
Other short term stress symptoms are a bit more recognizable. You may experience a palpitation, loose stool, or a memory disturbance, and attribute it to something you ate or a host of other things other than stress. If you have some of these symptoms, plus the other ones I mentioned earlier, you are probably under stress.

Understanding Low Libido
Low libido can interfere with our lives. It is important to have healthy sexual experiences within our relationships. If we lack sexual desire, figuring out the cause of the issue is the first step in resolving it. There are physiological and emotional reasons why some people lack libido at one point or another. By examining some common causes, we can find ways to improve our libido, and ultimately our sex life altogether.
It is women who experience low libido more than men. Overall, approximately one in every five people experiences this problem. If you lack sexual desire, or find yourself non-responsive to your partner's initiation, you are certainly not alone. Take a look at these common causes for low libido to determine if they apply to you.
