This Month's Question
I'm getting great results from my combination. How do I know when to stop and what do I do when I'm done?
If you've gotten the results that you want, then you've achieved balance in your body in this area. Take the combination only when you feel the symptoms returning or when you feel out of balance.
What throws us out of balance is the food we eat, ...

Do you love a good book? I do. I love curling up with a good book
just before I go to bed, or on cool days in front of the fire. Some
of my favorite authors include Tracy Chevalier and Catherine Ponder.
Of course, when it comes to remedies, I always have Dr. Bach's and Dr. Wheeler's The Bach Flower Remedies nearby.
I find that it is the definitive source on what essences go into a combination.

Anger, We All Have To Deal With It
Anger is a powerful emotion that everyone feels from time to time. There are different degrees of anger and an infinitive number of things that cause it. Anger is an emotion we all feel we have a right to have, especially when we feel that we have been cheated or mistreated in some way. Anger is a completely natural, human emotion. You could be angry with a specific person, such as a spouse or family member, or you may become angry at a particular situation or event such as a traffic jam.
Sometimes we feel energized by anger, that can be a good thing sometimes if you need to physically defend yourself, but this situation is rare in each individual life. But when anger gets out of control it can be destructive and lead to problems at work, in your relationships, and it can interfere with your overall quality of your life.
How Your Body Reacts To Anger
When you become angry, don’t do the first thing you fell like doing, like punching someone or throwing something. The first thing you should do is to remind yourself that your anger in it self will not resolve the situation that made you angry. For example: If a boss or co worker does something to make you angry no matter how angry you are or how long you stay angry, it will not resolve the situation. Instead of continuing to be angry calm your emotions and make a plan to deal with the situation.
Don’t Act Out of Anger
When you become angry it will cause certain changes in your body. This is what happens: Your adrenaline and other chemicals will pour into you bloodstream faster. Your heart will pump faster. Your blood pressure will rise and your muscles will become tense. Depending on the intensity of your anger and how long you stay angry, these conditions are not healthy for your body.

Knowing How Adrenal Fatigue Can Affect You
In today's fast paced world it is not uncommon to hear people complain about being tired and run down. However, if you suffer time to time from extreme fatigue for no obvious reason, you may have a condition that is referred to as adrenal fatigue. The adrenal glands are situated above each kidney. These two glands are about the size of a walnut and consist of two separate regions: an inner adrenal medulla, surrounded by an outer adrenal cortex.
The adrenal glands produce hormones that help to balance your blood sugar, which helps your body to manage your flow of energy. When the adrenal glands are not functioning properly, this can cause adrenal fatigue, or exhaustion.
Other symptoms of adrenal fatigue may include:
- Feeling rundown and overwhelmed
- Slow to recover from exercise
- Difficulty concentrating
- Food allergies
- Slow recovery from injuries
Avoiding Adrenal fatigue
One of the best things you can do to avoid adrenal fatigue is to eat a balanced diet. To minimize stress on the adrenal system, and ensure maximum energy, you should consider a low-sugar diet, consisting of sufficient protein and fat, and foods that are low in carbohydrates. It is best to eat these in small amounts throughout the day. Sugar and simple carbohydrates can put stress on the adrenal glands by rapidly shifting blood sugar levels.

Fear Is A Natural Instinct
Have you ever heard someone say, "I'm not afraid of anything"? Well, that person was probably not being completely honest. From birth we are equipped with certain survival instincts. One of those instincts is fear. It is one of the most basic human emotions that is programmed into the nervous system and works instinctively to protect us in certain situations. It may alert us to danger and prepare us to deal with it. Feeling afraid is very natural and it can be a signal that cautions us to be careful. Like most of our emotions, fear can be mild, or it can be intense, depending on the situation and the person involved. A feeing of fear can be brief or it can last a long time.
When fear is triggered it immediately releases adrenaline and other chemicals into the body. Our breathing may become shallow as our consciousness becomes focused on the object of our fear. Our peripheral vision starts to scan our surroundings for any methods of retreat or escape.
What Is A Phobia?
As indicated above, fear is normal, however a phobia is not. A phobia is an intense fear that is out of proportion to the potential danger. Phobias can cause people to worry about, dread and avoid the things or situations that to other people are normal. So having a phobia can interfere with your normal or what should be normal activities of daily life.
What Causes Phobias?
Some phobias develop when a person has a traumatic experience due to a particular thing or situation. For example: If a person was attacked by a dog as a child, this may cause a fearful reaction to dogs even in situations that don’t present a danger.
